So the book details very very well the history of Charlie and his frame of mind while following his trail into unfortunately a very long career of randonmly killing patients in his care. Its estimated he may have killed over 300 patients.
One of the aspects of the book is detailing the many failings of any of the hospitals to contact authorities when multiple hospitals had high suspicions of what he was doing. It was upsetting but an extremely intriguing read. Finished it in 2 days because I couldn’t put it down.
It also details how the authorities also handled the case and how hard it was to find actual evidence against him. It was mostly circumstantial.
